Macro is better

Got that Macro lens...and having a great time playing with my new toy....This is Ascda Madame Kenny x Ascda Red Gem. It is flowering almost constantly and hangs alongside a hoya.
This shot is not quite in focus. I am starting to realise that getting out the tripod is really worth it. And even a slight breeze is a problem. Trouble is, I like outside light, the flash alternative is too bleaching on the colour. Is it possible to do macro photography with a flash? Not sure....
