Den jenkinsii

Den jenkinsii, another spring flowering orchid, bright yellow again but I've increased the colour so much it looks orange - I love it. This orchid is flowering at exactly the same time as last year.

Big purple Cat

C. Lynne Spencer “Pearl” x C Paradisio “Colossal” from a piece given to me by Vic Horton

Odcdm. Orizaba ‘Everglades’

This is the first time this one has flowered! Odontocidiums are a bigeneric hybrids between the genera Odontoglossum and Oncidium. Merle gave me a cutting of this about 4 years ago so my wait is over, it has finally given me a reward. Not the best photo but it shows how long the raceme is. The flowers are quite flat and as large as a mini cattleya. With a few more sprays , this one is a prize winnner. In fact this hybrid already has an AM AOS on th tag which means it was awarded an Order of Merit at American Orchid Society judging.

Den lindleyii

Also known as Den aggregatum, this one has been flowering every spring for me. It's on a cork mount and is growing around it so I will have to reposition it after flowering this year. An Australian orchid.
