Paph Leeanum

It's winter and Brisbane is in the middle of a terrible drought. I have no orchids in flower and have not had any in flower for the last month. This is Paphiopedilum Leeanum and it is SUPPOSED to be flowering right now. But it isn't - so this is last year's rather poor shot. It's not a reflection - one flower faced on way, the other flower directly opposite.
I think I have a large grasshopper in the shadehouse so maybe he ate the buds. I pulled out two onciduims in bud yesterday to save them from the little tyrant....
