A reliable pink Cat, given to me by Vic Horton of Pine Rivers Orchid Society. This one doesn't open well enough to be prize winner but the beautiful ruffles on the petals make up for that!
I keep taking photos of this orchid...it flowers several times a year. the colour is so strong and I am hoping I have captured the shimmering nature of the petals in this morning sun shot. Click on photo to enlarge.
I know this isn't the best photo...I shouldn't take photos in direct sun. But I just keep trying to capture strong light. And this is the shiniest orchid I own!
This very delicate cluster cattleya was purchased from Brighton Orchids at Ros's recommendation back in 1999. This is the first time it has flowered! I had to wait 7 years. It is called (Slc Hawaiian Lustre x C. loddegesii) xx Blc Erin Kobayashi.
